The Company, YAK Communications Inc., specializes in offering these services to consumers by way of dial-around (also known as 10-XXX or casual calling) and 1+ billing. The Company is a facilities based carrier and reseller which utilizes its own state-of-the-art Harris IXP switching system. The Company's switch has access to existing multiple carrier networks and alternate International providers that supply voice and data traffic termination over a variety of different, least-cost routes. These networks use varying technologies to International termination points including voice over fiber optic lines, satellite and wireless systems, Internet Protocol (IP) bandwidth, frame relay, ATM networks, or the Internet backbone and world-wide-web infrastructure.
